My Winter Staples❄

Hi guys!!

There are many things that I tend to wear and use alot more frequently during Winter, here are a few that I thought I would share with you!

1) Bobble Hats

I am not one for wearing hats as they don't really suit me, but I don't think I look too bad in bobble hats. They are also just really cute, comfy and can be worn with most outfits. They keep my head and ears super warm and come in many colours!

The one on the left is from F&F at Tesco and the others are from Primark

2) Dark Nail Polish

I think that dark lipsticks are something that most people are afraid to wear, so a dark nail polish is a great alternative. I have this one by Maybelline which is in the range of my favorite nail polishes, it is in the colour Divine Wine. I think if you're wearing a very plain outfit then nail polish can add a touch of colour and in these case a touch of deepness.

3) Tartan Scarves

I am a big lover of the tartan pattern and absolutely love scarves so these combined are a dream. They are also really soft and warm, the ones I own are very big so that if you were travelling could also double up as a blanket.

The left scarf is from Primark, the middle from H&M and the right one was a Christmas present

4) Lip Balms

The cold weather really takes it toll on my skin and lips so lip balms are a staple for me at this time of year. I only like really moisturising ones as my lips get super dry and light weight balms don't really have an affect.

The left is EOS in Lemon Drop, the middle one is Soap & Glory A Great Kisser in Juicy Peach and the right is Balmi in Strawberry

Love you guys!

Top 3 Lush Christmas Products

Hi guys!

I hope you've had an amazing Christmas full with endless amounts of food and happiness. As I have been visiting Lush quite a bit recently, I thought I would show you some of my favorites from their Christmas range.

This has a very floral scent but has an essence of Christmas in it at the same time. You crumble this under running water to create a bath full of bubbles. It is incredibly moisturising as it is made with shea and cocoa butter. The smell and feeling of it is just so relaxing at Christmas time.

This is one of my favourite bath bombs from Lush. It is a beautiful shimmery gold colour, but when popped into the bath turns the water a stunning turquoise blue. It has quite a citrus scent, including orange, lime and cognac oils.

I love the So White bath bomb but I much prefer the shower gel that goes along with it. The scent of apples within it gives it such a fresh smell. It is also extremely moisturising as it has rice bran oil and benzoin in it.

I love the majority of the Lush Christmas range but these are just a few of my favorites.

Love you guys!

Judgemental Minds

Hi guys!

I know I have been doing quite a lot of advice/serious blog posts recently but this will be the last one for a while. I just wanted to talk about something that absolutely blows me away how often it occurs.

That something is people judging others for who they are, for example; race, religion, gender, sexuality, appearance etc. I honestly just don't understand why you would do that. I spend most my life judging myself and telling myself that everyone around me is judging me. But, I would never I even think to judge someone else for who they are.

I recently watched Connor Franta's coming out video and it inspired me. He was so scared to actually admit to himself who he is but has built up the strength to do it and is proud to be that person and I am so proud of him for conquering that.

There are always rumours that go around schools, communities, work places etc, about what religion someone is, what sexuality they are and so on but really why does it matter? It is going to make no difference to you or affect your life whatsoever and even if the rumours are true you should not treat that person differently.

Especially at my age, 15, I feel like people are pressurised into doing things they aren't ready for or deciding who they are which they most likely are still not ready for. I wish we lived in a world where everyone accepted everyone for who they were and treated them equally. Not a world where the word 'gay' is used as an insult. It discusts me.

So please if you can't quite decide what the feelings you're having mean or who you are, then never feel rushed into making that decision. And, if you have a friend who you know is feeling that way, please support them so that they feel more happy to open up to you if needed.

I love you guys!!

Tuesday Chats - Do What Makes You Happy

I

Hi guys!

The quote 'Surround yourself with those who make you happy.' is one of my favorites. You may not think it matters if somebody 'makes you happy' but wouldn't you like to be happy within yourself? Yes, your smiling but that doesn't mean your necessarily happy. I used smiling as a shield to what I am truly feeling.

You need to be with people who can change you from feeling below sad to beyond happy when you don't think its possible. Someone who will be there for you night and day, understand you, support you and listen to you. Soon enough, that smile won't be fake anymore.

I know life is about taking risks, but if you're risking your happiness it isn't worth it. If someone isn't making you happy or is actually upsetting you then you need to cut that person out of your life. Its best if you aren't close anymore as you should be focusing on if you're happy or not. Sometimes this decision is hard to make, but you get through it.

You obviously make your own decisions but i'm just advising you. Listen to your heart and be brave.

Love you,

Tuesday Chats - Pursuing Your Dreams

Hi guys,

I've decided to start something called 'Tuesday Chats' where most Tuesday I will write up a non beauty or fashion related post based on a different subjects.

One of the most important things in life is to do what you want and to not let anyone stop you from doing that. It can have a really big impact on your life if you do not do so. For example, if you pick the GCSEs or A Levels that your friends pick and not that you particularly like, it can really impact your future. If there was a job you wanted to do but you didn't do the GCSEs or A Levels that are needed in order to get this job, just because your friends were in that class, the future that you hoped to have, might not happen.

Its important to pursue your dreams. If you want to take part in that play, go for it. If you want to apply for that job, go for it. Do what you want, not what your friends or family want, even if that's 'different', It's your life and you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.

You should respect what others want to do with their lives and they should respect what you want to do with yours. If your friends don't, you should really rethink about calling them friends. It could majorly affect your future and obviously you want your future to be the best it can be. So go for it, pursue your dreams and do what you want to do.

I love you guys,

Yourself

Hi guys,

I thought I would write up a little post for you today.

Many people look in the mirror and don't think well of themselves. They base their lives on the people around them and how they want to be better than them or as popular/attractive/kind as they are.

"The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday." In my opinion, these are words to live by. You shouldn't try and be anyone else, but yourself. If someone you want to be like is telling you otherwise then they are not worth looking up to.
Wanting to be someone else is a sign of a lack of self-confidence, but even that under-confident person is I'm sure a lot better than the person you want to be. Over-confidence is in some ways good, for example, on stage. But being over-confident in yourself, is not something that should be looked up to. Its important to be happy with who you are, but to be happy and respectful for who the people around you are too,

It doesn't matter what you look like, what background you come from, what sex you are or what hobbies you have, what really matters, is what is inside of your heart. You can better yourself as a person if that's what you want, but you can't change who are so you might as well enjoy being you. If somebody judges you for that then they obviously are not happy enough within themselves to let you be happy. But be kind to the unkind people, they are the ones that need it the most.

Do what you want and be who you want to be. Don't let anyone else persuade you otherwise.
