Eyeliner Love

Hey guys!

I have been a fan of liquid eyeliner for a good few years now. I think it suits me and I find it fairly easy to apply. The only problem I have is that I ALWAYS make the line too thick.

Whilst casually watching a Sprinkleofglitter video a couple of weeks ago, I saw Louise mention the Soap&Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner. As a big fan of both Soap&Glory's body and makeup range, I was really up for trying this. I went and picked it up and was surprised to see that it was only £6.00, which is great value for a liquid liner and extremely cheap for Soap&Glory.

I gave it ago, and I had decided I didn't like the way it applied and to me, wasn't black enough. But I didn't want to give up after going for a trip to boots especially to buy it. After using it a fair few times, the colour became darker and more visible on the eyelid. I have no idea why, but it did. I now absolutely love it! Especially because it can create a very thin line and does not smudge throughout the day.

This eyeliner has completely stole my heart and made me love eyeliner even more.

I think it makes your lashes look so much thicker, and makes a change from just wearing eye shadow. I do like 'cat eye flicks' but don't always go for them because I'm sure they suit me and I feel can sometimes look a bit too much.

Thank you so much for reading, it means a lot!

Lip Product Addict Tag

Hey guys!
I'm sorry I didn't post in the last few days. As a lipstick lover I have adored watching the Lip Product Addict Tag which was started by the beautiful Amelia Liana and EssieButton, I will post the link to that video below. As I love it so much I thought I would do it in blog form like I did with the Beauty Blogger Tag.

1. Favourite balm/treatment?
My favourite is the Soap & Glory A Great Kisser Lip Balm. It is extremely moisturising and lasts so long on the lips as well as leaving a gorgeous glossy finish.

2. Best eye-catching red?
I don't particularly like wearing red but I am a fan of the MUA Power Pouts Lipstick in the colour Justify, it's gorgeous and looks amazing on the lips swell as being super cheap.

3. Best luxury & best drugstore?
I do not own any luxury lipsticks myself so I'm going to have to skip that one but my favourite drugstore is by far the Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finished Lipstick particularly in the colour 003, they last really well and are very moisturising too.

4. Best MAC lipstick?
I'm going to have to go for Crème Cup as it's a classic nude, goes with every skin tone and can be worn throughout the year.

5. The most disappointing?
I'm going to have to go for the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick as they wasn't what I was expecting them to be. I do like them and I love the colour 'To Nude or Not To Nude' but they have been raved about a lot and to me they are nothing special, they are not too moisturising, well maybe that's just me (I like a lot of moisture). I will continue to wear the ones I have but they just aren't the best lipstick in the drugstore and not the cheapest either.

6. Liner - yes or no?
No, I have never worn liner and am not sure I ever will, maybe when I'm a bit older and wear bolder lip shades.

7. Best gloss?
I know most of this tag is about Rimmel, but they do so many great lip products! My favourite gloss is the Rimmel Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss. The coral colour 'Lights Camera Action' is gorgeous, they're shimmery, not sticky and stay put.

8. Something extra!
I have to give a shout out to the Lush Lip Scrubs, they are amazing at getting rid of dead skin and taste sooo good, my favourite flavours are Popcorn and Santa's (Santa's is a cola flavour which is limited edition for Christmas). I also love the Maybelline Baby Lips, they smell and taste amazing, leave beautiful sheer colours on the lips and keep them hydrated.

So there we go, thank you so much for reading and I'll see you in my next post (which may or may not be an OOTD;)).

Empties #1

Hey guys!

There is no Weekend Trio this week in case you were wondering as I did one last week and of course because its half term! I do have quite a bit of homework and revision to do this half term so I am not going to go mad with the posts, but I'll try and post at least every over day. But today, I am going to be trying something new and post an empties for you!

Just to warn you, this is very Soap & Glory related...

I've had this for a good few months ago, but have been using it for every wash. I have sensitive skin and this works perfectly for me, moisturising and nourishing my skin as well as keeping it clean. I just use this on a loofer and it smells amazing, let me tell you.

I don't usually stick to mascaras, but I have been loving this one. It ends so much length to your lashes and makes them look so much thicker without being clumpy. As soon as I ran out of this stuff, I repurchased it straight away.

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I absolutely adore this brow pencil and use it everyday (My Brow Routine). It is amazing and I think, to get to the nib of a brow pencil says a lot about how much you like it, I NEED to get another one of these and am rushing out today just to get one.

Again, if you have been reading this blog for a while you'll know that I have very problematic skin. Not in the sense of spots and blemishes, I infact suffer from severe facial dermatitis. A few weeks ago from now, my skin cleared up and I dug out the old the concealer which I realised I didn't really like but I used this one up anyway as there was no point in purchasing a different one in case my skin went downhill again, like it now has. It's an okay concealer, great coverage but extremely drying and tends to melt off my skin.

I love this body butter, it is one of my favourites. As the weather has been nice lately in England, (except from this last week were I got absolutely drenched in rain and hail), I have been getting my legs out more so this was needed. I apply it after a shower and it does the trick for me.

We Are All Equal

Hey guys!

I do apologize but this post is more on the sad side of things.

We are all human. We are all different, but at the same time, equal. You should be treated no different to anyone else and no one has the right to change that.

Even if it's just the tiniest remark, you can crush someones confidence. Never point out someones insecurities because they are either already super insecure about it already or you have caused it to become an insecurity. I have noticed lots of people around me not caring about the feeling of others. It's not right. Have we not learnt our lesson about bullying? Have we not seen what it can do to people? People have got to the point of taking there own lives and even though not physically, if you said one horrible thing to them, you are responsible. You're probably thinking the person that you say or do things to will 'never do that' well that's the worse case scenario, just ruining there confidence or making them feel badly about themselves is bad enough, you should feel guilty for just doing that.

I am definitely not saying that I have never said anything bad to anyone. Believe me, a couple of years ago I was horrible to people, but I will say this, I have grown up. Not in the sense that I have stopped messing around, being weird or just being the silly, goofy person that I am. But in the sense that I have experience pain, and have realized that there are people out there that are right now and that some people are so sensitive that you can just say one tiny comment to them and they will break down. I have become a lot of a better person this year I think and have recently realized that it is so important to try and be happy. I am still the anxious, worrying person that I will always be but I am going to try and keep others happy as well as myself. That if someone is upset it isn't because of me (not purposely anyway) and if they are upset I will be there for them no matter what.

It is important to remember you are not alone and there are so many caring people out there that believe you are beautiful inside and out. Keep smiling.

I love you all.

OOTD#1 18.05.14

Hey guys!
This is the third and final post of this weeks Weekend Trio and for the first time on this blog, I am posting an OOTD. I am extremely sorry for the bad quality photos but I just don't have a good camera at the moment. Also am sorry for the mess in the background, I share a bedroom with my little sister so you get the picture. I am not going to lie to you guys, most of this outfit is from Primark, I do love that shop. I'll stop rambling now and just get into it, I did try and do some arty shots but they failed badly as I am not a photographer, haha.

Top - Primark £3
Shorts - Primark £4

Thank you for reading, it means so much!

Three Things To Do On A Spring/Summers Day

Hey guys!

Welcome to post number two of the Weekend Trio. The weather in England lately has been glorious, especially yesterday. I had such a lovely day and  just wanted to share with you a few things I like doing when the sun is out.

1) Going for a morning walk. I took my gorgeous Dalmatian Henry with me, but if you don't have a dog, just bring someone along with you like a friend, a partner etc. Yesterday the sky was pure blue quite early in the morning and it was the perfect temperature to go out for a walk.

2) Baking is one of my favourite things to do. I made a gorgeous ginger cake (recipe here http://www.mumsnet.com/food/recipe/883-Ginger-cake) and sat outside in the amazing weather eating it.

3) Going to restaurants or pubs with family or friends is the perfect thing to do on a nice day, you can sit in the garden sipping on ice cold drinks, eating beautiful food. I went to The Fitzwilliam Arms which is near to where I live, with my family.

(If you're wondering what this is, they put the cutlery in little watering cans, how cute!)

Dry Shampoo - Which Does The Best Job?

Hey guys!

First off, I am extremely sorry for not posting in a while, I hope you can respect that I do go to school and need to focus on that sometimes but I do try my hardest to get a post up when I can. This post is the first of a new series I'm starting called 'The Weekend Trio'. As the name states, I will be uploading three posts every other weekend, with the exception of holidays, where you will get a lot more coming your way.

I don't know about you guys, but I could not live without dry shampoo. My second day hair, looks more like four day hair for some people so I do wash it every other day. But for in between those washes, dry shampoo is my bestie.

The classic, I haven't met someone who hasn't used Batiste once in there lives. It has been raved about so much and personally, I do quite like it. I have mainly tried the 'Coconut & Exotic' scented one, which does leave white marks but when massaged into the roots, tends to disappear. I have heard the coloured ones are good too. It does absorb any oil in your hair and is fine, but I do like dry shampoos to add volume too and I'm not sure it did that much for me.

Now, for this dry shampoo, there is a volumising version, but even the original adds so much volume so I can't imagine what the volumising one does. This, as most do, absorbs oil and does a good job, but again leaves white marks in your hair, which especially with this dry shampoo, I find very hard to remove or hide. It is lovely and was recommended to me by my Nan, but as we have very different types of hair, it's hard to know whether it will work the same. Although it's the most expensive out of the three, I don't think it's the best.

This dry shampoo, is my saviour. I had never heard of Dove doing dry shampoos before saw EssieButton talk about it on her channel. First off, it smells sooo good. It absorbs oil, so amazingly it looks like you've just washed your hair. Let me get to the best part, it is invisible. There is so residue or marks left in my hair and I love it. It is most definetley my favourite out of the three.

I hope you enjoyed this post guys, thank you so much for reading.

The Bronzer That Stole My Heart

Hey guys,

I am aware there are not many of you out there, but yesterday I asked on twitter what sort of blog post you would like to see and someone popped up with the idea of a Q&A. So earlier today I posted asking for questions and there were no replies. I was afraid this would happen as I wasn't completely sure on the idea. If there are some of you out there that do like this idea or have a different one, please contact me. If there is anything you need to talk about, check out the 'about' tab above for my contact details, you are not alone.

Anyway, back to the post. This bronzer, I first saw essiebutton use/show on her blog and channel, then I saw missglamorazzi use it in her video (I will pop both there links below). Yes, you guessed it, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer. At first I  was slightly confused by this bronzer, as it was incredibly light but now I am completely converted.

The next time I was in town I picked it up, that was about 2 weeks ago now and I have been absolutely LOVING it. I have quite fair skin and always have that problem of putting too much blusher/bronzer on and it being very visible but I never need to worry about that with this bronzer.

I have the shade 'Light Matte 01' and I apply it to my jaw bone, my temples, my hairline and I contour my cheeks. It just adds that warm tone to your face, as well as adding some definition and shape. Not only does it look beautiful on the skin, but the packaging is also stunning. The actual bronzing powder itself has a gorgeous honeycomb pattern on it and it is in chocolate brown packaging which when light reflects off it, portrays the same honeycomb pattern.

I am not an expert on photography, so don't judge it by the pictures. It retails at £13.00, which is not bad at all and as you can see here it has found its own special place in my draw (top middle section).

Hope you enjoyed this post, be sure to check out missglamorazzi and essiebutton, who's links I will post below. I have decided to include links at the end of my posts each week of YouTube channels or blogs that I have been loving. As I mentioned these two in my post, I'll place their links below this week, besides I do love them anyway;).
